What you'll do

Design and build a next-generation reliability platform for production systems.
Own and deliver quarterly goals while leading engineers through ambiguous, open-ended problems.
Create and monitor metrics to support the operations and availability of team artifacts.
Set and improve code review and design standards to foster a culture of quality.
Provide feedback and guidance to develop the technical talent on your team.
Define technical plans for significant features using elegant, simple, and extensible designs.
Participate in product ideation by articulating technical constraints and risk trade-offs.
Support on-call efforts and "keep the lights on" operational tasks.

What we're looking for

You have a total of 4+ years of experience as a software engineer.
You have experience designing, developing, and launching backend systems at scale using Python, Kotlin, AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.
You have experience shipping web apps using declarative UI frameworks like React or Vue.
You have practical experience using LLMs or AI frameworks to enhance automation and guidance with guardrails and citations (preferred).
You have experience defining technical plans for significant features with elegant, simple, and extensible designs.
You are proficient at making significant changes in large code bases and developing tools to do so safely.
You have strong verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with a global engineering team.
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
