Senior Software Engineer, Android

What you'll do

• Develop, integrate, and deploy Android applications using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and Java.
• Write efficient, well-documented code while implementing OOP principles and design patterns like MVVM and MVC.
• Create core libraries, application frameworks, and robust Android architectures.
• Manage concurrency using Threads, Handlers, Coroutines, and various scheduling techniques.
• Build, test, and ship new features within an agile development environment.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and UX teams to influence and improve the user experience.
• Ensure mobile applications function seamlessly across multiple device sizes, including phones and tablets.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (High School Diploma and 4 years relevant experience).
• 5+ years of experience in software development working on enterprise-class applications.
• 3+ years of experience working on Android front-end development.
• 3+ years of experience developing for multiple device sizes including phones and tablets in portrait and landscape.
• 3+ years of experience and understanding of the entire Mobile SDLC using Android SDK.
• Ability to handle and protect sensitive and confidential company information (preferred).
• Good understanding of ADA and other regulatory compliances including PCI, PII, and PHI (preferred).
• Knowledge of CI/CD and build automation tools like Jenkins (preferred).
