Senior Software Engineer, AI Agents / Java

What you'll do

• Develop and productionize scalable, cloud-based machine learning and AI solutions using Java.
• Design and implement software systems, microservices, and API contracts aligned with pre-defined architectures.
• Translate ambiguous business requirements into scalable technical designs and implementation plans.
• Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers to ensure high code quality and secure coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex issues across application layers, OCI services, and API integrations.
• Implement monitoring, observability, and performance optimization strategies for production systems.
• Perform periodic maintenance, patching, and testing to ensure system reliability and security.
• Manage project timelines and deliverables independently while coordinating cross-functionally on feature delivery.

What we're looking for

• Applicants must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Candidates must have 3 to 5+ years of experience.
• Experience in developing and productionizing ML models and intelligent applications using NLP, LLMs, and generative AI is required.
• Proficiency in Java microservice orchestration and ML system design is required.
• Experience with MLOps, testing, observability, and cloud technologies is required.
• Ability to lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers is required.
• Experience with API versioning, lifecycle, and interoperability strategies is required.
• Experience with secure coding practices and performance optimization is required.
