Senior Software Engineer, Agentic AI Tools

What you'll do

• Build and implement AI agents to autonomously scrape, ingest, and analyze data from internal and external sources.
• Develop agentic AI tools using Python, TypeScript, and frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, and CrewAI.
• Engineer AI-driven agents to detect and assess emerging threats across AI security, app security, and bots.
• Create AI-powered security tools, dashboards, and web experiences for technical marketing and research purposes.
• Build pipelines for AI workload optimization, observability, testing, and automation across research use cases.
• Translate research findings into usable outputs such as demos, technical articles, and customer-facing security narratives.
• Integrate AI agents with F5 products including BIG-IP, NGINX, and Distributed Cloud for scalable security analysis.

What we're looking for

• 8+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, including building and deploying agentic AI systems for research and automation.
• Strong expertise in Python and designing autonomous multi-step AI agents for research and security workflows.
• Hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, and LlamaIndex.
• Working knowledge of OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, and NVIDIA model ecosystems.
• Experience with RAG architectures, prompt engineering, tool calling, embeddings, vector databases, and workflow design.
• Experience with MLflow, Kubeflow, BentoML, and related MLOps and AI deployment tools.
• Strong expertise in data ingestion using APIs, web scraping, BeautifulSoup, and Scrapy for various data sources.
• Foundational understanding of cybersecurity concepts and frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK and OWASP.
• Proven success delivering AI-driven research tools, security tools, and scalable automation for technical marketing assets.
• Familiarity with F5 products such as AI Security, BIG-IP, NGINX App Protect, and Distributed Cloud API Security (preferred).
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across engineering, product management, technical marketing engineering, research, and data science teams.
