Senior AI Agent Engineer
The Senior AI Agent Engineer joins the OCMO team to design, build, and deploy AI agents and automation solutions that improve operational workflows across the business. You will collaborate with OCMO stakeholders to translate operational needs into practical, safe, and reliable AI solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include building agents, integrating advanced AI models, designing prompts, and developing automations to drive productivity. You will utilize technologies including Python, TypeScript, Java, LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, and APIs from Google, OpenAI, and Anthropic. You will also work with platforms like Microsoft Copilot Studio and Google AI Studio. The role solves complex business challenges by operationalizing automation across Services, Customer Success, Sales, and Operations while ensuring all solutions align with enterprise governance, security, and architecture standards.
Develop, deploy, and maintain AI agents and automation solutions to improve operational workflows.
Design and refine prompts and agent behaviors to ensure reliable, high-quality outputs from generative AI systems.
Identify operational needs within the OCMO community and translate them into practical AI or non-AI solutions.
Collaborate with IT to ensure all AI solutions align with enterprise governance, security, and architecture standards.
Measure solution adoption and performance while troubleshooting issues to continuously improve automation workflows.
Support rapid pilot development and execution sprints to validate use cases and demonstrate business value.
Provide internal training and evangelization for built solutions and other relevant AI technologies.
Document best practices to help scale successful AI solutions across different teams and business functions.
What we're looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field or equivalent experience.
5+ years of engineering experience in a customer-facing role or as a software engineer with consulting experience.
Production experience with LLMs including advanced prompt engineering, agent development, evaluation frameworks, and deployment at scale.
Proficiency in programming with Python and experience in one or more languages such as TypeScript or Java (preferred).
Hands-on experience with AI frameworks and platforms such as LangChain, OpenAI APIs, Anthropic APIs, CrewAI, AutoGen, Microsoft Copilot Studio, or Google AI Studio.
Hands-on experience with agentic coding platforms such as Google Antigravity, Claude Code, or OpenAI Codex with experience in developing Skills and integrating Tools.
Knowledge of AI ethics and responsible AI prompt design principles.
Familiarity with common Sales and Marketing platforms such as Salesforce, Hubspot, Marketo, Adobe suite, Tableau, and ServiceNow.
