What you'll do

Define architectural patterns and write system design documents to improve observability and reliability.
Mentor junior engineers and perform thoughtful code reviews to maintain high code quality.
Integrate ML or AI capabilities into products, such as automated AI review for ads formats.
Manage and optimize relational databases, including data modeling and query performance.

What we're looking for

5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Strong experience building and operating backend services and APIs in modern web frameworks like Ruby on Rails or Go.
Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL, including data modeling and query performance.
Experience designing for scale, reliability, and maintainability across distributed systems.
Ability to work across the stack, including integrating with frontend applications.
Strong analytical and debugging skills with a sense of ownership for production systems.
Prior work experience in the digital advertising industry or on self-serve platforms (preferred).
Experience with asynchronous processing, cloud infrastructure, or integrating ML/AI capabilities (preferred).
