What you'll do

Architect and develop high-performance microservices using Java, JEE, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
Lead the development of event-driven services using Apache Kafka for streaming and schema evolution.
Own the API strategy for RESTful services, ensuring consistent JSON modeling and backward-compatible versioning.
Design and implement ETL pipelines for structured and unstructured data using Python or Spring Batch.
Lead data migration efforts for legacy-to-cloud transitions, including validation and reconciliation.
Integrate microservices with EHR systems using HL7 v2, FHIR, and SMART on FHIR standards.
Build and maintain CI/CD automation pipelines including unit tests, SAST/DAST, and policy gates.
Deploy and operate services on Google Cloud Platform using GKE, Cloud Run, and Pub/Sub.

What we're looking for

5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
5+ years of experience developing applications with Java/JEE, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and RESTful microservices.
3+ years of experience with Apache Kafka, including event streaming, partitions, consumer groups, and schema registry.
3+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and automated testing.
3+ years of experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud orchestration.
2+ years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (HS diploma plus 4 years of relevant experience).
Experience with FHIR, HL7 v2, and EHR integrations (preferred).
