What you'll do

Design, implement, test, debug, and operate components of the OCI Key Management Service.
Develop secure, scalable, and maintainable software for KMS services and related infrastructure.
Build features for key lifecycle management, cryptographic operations, and encryption-at-rest.
Integrate backend workflows, distributed systems components, and HSM integrations into the service stack.
Troubleshoot production issues and participate in on-call support and incident response.
Implement reliability improvements and develop operational tooling for the KMS platform.
Create technical documentation, design notes, runbooks, and operational guidance.

What we're looking for

BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years of software development experience.
Experience with distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, security services, or large-scale backend services (preferred).
Strong programming skills in Java, C++, C, Go, or similar systems/backend languages.
Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals.
Strong ownership and communication skills to work effectively in a collaborative engineering environment.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
