Senior Core Infrastructure Engineer

What you'll do

• Design and optimize distributed system components for high-volume data processing, horizontal scaling, and vertical scalability.
• Build fault-tolerant infrastructure using redundancy, replication, automatic failover, circuit breakers, and retry mechanisms.
• Develop automation scripts and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to streamline troubleshooting and cloud management.
• Create and customize dashboards, telemetry systems, and alerting configurations to monitor system health proactively.
• Conduct performance testing, load testing, and fault-injection scenarios to ensure system correctness and reliability.
• Participate in incident response, perform root cause analysis, and author operational runbooks.
• Implement advanced security controls including encryption and access management for multi-tenant environments.
• Manage infrastructure changes through established protocols for patching, updates, and rollbacks.

What we're looking for

• Must have 3 to 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in Java programming is required.
• Experience with distributed systems and cloud native technologies is required.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Experience designing and optimizing components for scalability, resiliency, and operability in distributed systems.
• Ability to implement fault-tolerant paths including redundancy, replication, and automatic failover.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for managing cloud infrastructure and automation.
• Ability to apply advanced security controls such as encryption and access management.
