What you'll do

Manage the end-to-end software asset lifecycle for assigned enterprise software portfolios.
Monitor software entitlements, inventory, deployment, and consumption to maintain accurate licensing positions.
Identify and remediate compliance gaps, overdeployment risks, and underutilized licenses.
Analyze usage data to provide recommendations for forecasting, renewals, optimization, and cost control.
Serve as a subject matter expert on specific publishers to advise stakeholders on licensing requirements.
Support software audits, risk assessments, and regulatory compliance activities.
Lead initiatives for software rationalization, optimization, and end-of-life management.
Improve SAM processes, tooling, documentation, and standard operating procedures.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
5+ years of IT Asset Management experience in a large or complex enterprise environment.
3+ years of direct Software Asset Management experience.
Hands-on experience with ServiceNow SAM Pro.
Strong understanding of software licensing, compliance, entitlements, consumption, and lifecycle management.
Experience managing enterprise software publisher portfolios and identifying/remediating compliance risks.
Experience supporting software governance, audit, risk, or control activities.
Experience managing Microsoft, Oracle, or IBM portfolios; experience with IBM sub-capacity, M365, Azure, or Power Platform (preferred).
