Senior SharePoint Backend Administrator

What you'll do

• Deploy, operate, and maintain SharePoint services including load balancing, PKI authentication, and claims-based authentication.
• Provide implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance for SharePoint and SQL clusters across multiple security enclaves.
• Manage permissions for site collections, lists, and items while overseeing M365 applications like Teams and OneDrive.
• Execute manual data migrations from older SharePoint versions to SharePoint 2019, SE, or SharePoint Online.
• Develop technical solutions for complex problems and update Knowledge Articles and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Oversee SharePoint projects including version upgrades, routine maintenance, and expansion of capabilities to meet requirements.
• Conduct data searches and purges as required by cyber security, legal, and compliance mandates.
• Support 24/7/365 mission requirements by providing after-hours outage response and updating triage documentation.

What we're looking for

• Must have a Bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience, Master's with 6 years, Associate's with 10 years, or High School Diploma with 12 years.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must have a TS/SCI with specific polygraph or a TS/SCI and willingness to complete a polygraph.
• Must meet DoDM 8140.03 IT System Admin Intermediate certification requirements (Cloud+, GICSP, SSCP, Security+ CE, GSEC, or higher).
• Must have strong experience with SharePoint 2013, 2016, 2019, SE, and SharePoint Online.
• Must have experience configuring, installing, and securing SharePoint systems, including SQL cluster management and patch maintenance.
• Must have experience with PKI authentication, claims-based authentication, and load balancers like F5 BigIP or Citrix NetScaler.
• Must have experience with M365/O365 cloud offerings, Tier 2 & 3 system administration, and ITSM ticketing systems like ServiceNow.
• Must have strong oral and written communication skills and experience working in a team environment.
• Familiarity with Nintex, InfoPath, and/or PowerBI platforms (preferred).
• Experience configuring and managing SPPatchify for large SharePoint farms (preferred).
• Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert or equivalent certification related to SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive (preferred).
