Senior SEIT Lead, Product Solutions

What you'll do

• Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams across electrical, mechanical, and software disciplines to bring products from concept to production.
• Translate product requirements into actionable technical specifications for design implementation.
• Identify and mitigate technical, schedule, and resource risks throughout the product design phase.
• Manage Design for Manufacturing (DFM) activities, build-cost viability, and BOM management for production readiness.
• Plan and execute comprehensive system integration, including electrical, mechanical, thermal, and environmental testing.
• Ensure all designs comply with defense and aerospace standards such as MIL-STD-810 and MIL-STD-461.
• Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and enforce rigorous engineering standards to ensure quality.
• Deliver high-level project status updates and milestone reports to senior management.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE), Engineering Technology, or a closely related technical field.
• Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) or a closely related field (preferred).
• 6-9+ years of hands-on experience leading physical product design, system analysis, prototyping, and driving products into full-scale production.
• Strong familiarity with Agile PLM systems and hands-on experience with hardware test equipment like oscilloscopes and RF spectrum analyzers.
• Demonstrated experience navigating MIL-STD requirements and managing outsourced or in-house compliance testing.
• Proven track record of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced equipment manufacturing environment and transitioning designs to the factory floor.
• Exceptional team leadership skills to inspire and collaborate within multidisciplinary engineering environments (EE, ME, Software).
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess an active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or the ability to obtain one within 15 months.
