As a Senior Security Operations Engineer, you will join the Trust & IT organization to protect corporate and cloud environments from security threats. The role requires experience with CI/CD systems, DevOps workflows using Buildkite, Flux, Git, and Terraform, as well as managing SIEM, data pipelines, SOAR, and cloud security tools across AWS, Azure, or GCP. You will solve complex security challenges by collaborating with engineering teams to remediate issues within established SLAs while ensuring secure system design for financial services.

What you'll do

  • Prevent, detect, and respond to security threats across corporate and cloud environments.
  • Perform incident response, investigation, remediation, and documentation for security events.
  • Participate in periodic threat hunting and security exercises.
  • Design, build, and maintain tools and systems for corporate security and infrastructure.
  • Partner with engineering teams to remediate security issues within established SLAs.
  • Develop and maintain internal tools using Go and Python.
  • Contribute to the team's open source projects and technical community engagement.

What we're looking for

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent training/fellowship.
  • Possess 5+ years of work experience in corporate security, detection and response, or infrastructure security roles.
  • Experience with security alert triage and incident response is required.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD systems and DevOps workflows like Buildkite, Flux, Git, and Terraform in cloud environments.
  • Experience deploying and maintaining security tools such as SIEM, data pipelines, SOAR, and endpoint tooling.
  • Proficiency in coding, specifically with Go and Python, to develop and maintain internal tools.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, diverse team environment.
