Senior Security Engineer

What you'll do

• Conduct comprehensive security assessments and penetration tests on on-premises networks and Azure cloud environments.
• Evaluate network security posture during design, implementation, and deployment to ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
• Integrate security controls and automated testing into CI/CD pipelines for network and cloud deployments.
• Review and enhance network architecture by identifying threats and compliance gaps in Azure services.
• Provide guidance on identity and access management, data protection, and secure connectivity.
• Develop and enforce network security policies aligned with industry frameworks like NIST and CIS Benchmarks.
• Prepare security assessment reports and communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Participate in incident response activities related to network or application security events.

What we're looking for

• Candidates must currently reside in West Los Angeles, CA.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future sponsorship.
• 5+ years of professional experience in network security, including hands-on experience with on-premises and Azure cloud environments.
• Experience conducting manual and automated network security assessments, scanning, and penetration testing.
• Strong understanding of application security architecture and its integration with network security.
• Knowledge of Azure security tools and services such as Azure Firewall, Network Security Groups, Security Center/Defender, and Key Vault.
• Familiarity with secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC) and DevSecOps practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (preferred).
• Relevant certifications such as Azure Security Engineer Associate, CISSP, CEH, or CCSP (preferred).
