The Security Operations Engineer joins the Information Security team to support, maintain, and contribute to the Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response platform. What you'll do

  • Develop, test, and maintain SOAR playbooks, workflows, and integrations.
  • Identify repetitive manual security tasks and implement automated solutions to improve response speeds.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for automation workflows, scripts, and tool integrations.
  • Perform basic SOAR platform maintenance, including routine updates and tool migrations.
  • Log all system changes and maintain the overall health of the SOAR platform.
  • Write and troubleshoot basic scripts for API integrations using Python or similar languages.

What we're looking for

  • 1–3 years of experience in a Security Engineering level role.
  • Previous experience as a Security Operations Center (SOC) analyst or IT support technician (preferred).
  • Solid understanding of core security concepts and exposure to SOAR, SIEM, EDR, and threat intelligence platforms.
  • Foundational scripting skills in Python or similar languages to read, troubleshoot, and write scripts for API integrations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to break down manual workflows into logical processes.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills for documenting technical workflows and collaborating with teammates.
  • Entry-to-intermediate industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CySA+, GISF, or GSEC (preferred).
  • Familiarity with leading SOAR platforms, additional scripting languages, or security frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK or NIST (preferred).
