What you'll do

  • Lead a team of frontline Sales Engineering Managers and their SEs, ensuring technical execution and team health.
  • Conduct regular 1:1s, regional meetings, and performance reviews for managers and individual contributors.
  • Guide manager performance, facilitate coaching, and develop succession paths within the leadership bench.
  • Ensure your team is proficient across Datadog’s product suite, competitive landscape, and industry trends.
  • Partner with Sales counterparts to translate value propositions into regional execution, aligning technical engagement with account priorities.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of experience in Sales Engineering or Solutions Architecture roles.
  • Proven track record in managing technical sales teams and developing managers.
  • Strong understanding of cloud, SaaS, IT infrastructure, monitoring, observability, and security solutions.
  • Ability to meet revenue targets and KPIs through effective team leadership.
  • Excellent communication skills for articulating complex technical concepts clearly.
  • Proficiency in English, Portuguese, and ideally Spanish.
