As a Senior Quantum Foundry Technologist & Library Specialist on Microsoft’s Quantum 1st Party Hardware System-on-a-Chip (SOC) team, you will lead the development of Microsoft’s quantum Application-Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) Foundry and Library Interface by interfacing with internal and external foundries to establish long-term partnerships and create library Process-Development-Kits (PDKs). Your daily tasks include evaluating foundries for materials and processes tailored to Microsoft’s needs, leading technical interactions during pre-silicon design and post-manufacturing stages, and defining testchip designs for technology interception.
