Senior Quantum Materials Device Implementation Engineer

What you'll do

• Develop, execute, and optimize semiconductor and hybrid quantum device implementation processes.
• Identify process sensitivities and implement improvements to enhance reproducibility and performance.
• Implement devices for characterization experiments with high process fidelity.
• Maintain rigorous documentation of device implementation procedures and results.
• Support qualification and optimization of process modules used in device implementation.
• Apply AI tools to improve efficiency in process development, data analysis, and technical documentation.
• Train team members on best practices in device processing and cleanroom operation.

What we're looking for

• Demonstrated experience implementing advanced semiconductor or hybrid quantum devices.
• Hands-on expertise in electron beam lithography, thin film deposition, patterning, dielectric deposition, etch processes, and surface preparation.
• Strong track record of enhancing device performance through process innovations.
• Direct experience with dielectric interfaces affecting device stability and charge noise.
• Ability to operate independently and execute complex workflows in a cleanroom environment.
• Proficient in using AI tools to accelerate engineering workflows and decision-making.
