What you'll do

  • Design, develop, and deploy financial models using state-of-the-art open source or vendor solutions.
  • Build a scalable framework for ingesting, transforming, and enhancing finance data at web scale.
  • Create interactive finance visualization tools and dashboards to communicate results to business leaders.
  • Conduct literature reviews and research to support methodology decisions during model development.
  • Write comprehensive documentation for financial models and develop corresponding monitoring plans.
  • Ensure all models comply with federal regulatory requirements and internal risk management policies.
  • Collaborate with technology teams to operationalize financial models into production environments.
  • Review vendor models and external models developed outside of the Center of Excellence.

What we're looking for

  • Master’s degree in Management Sciences and Quantitative Methods, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a related quantitative analytics role.
  • Experience with data transformation and wrangling using tools such as SQL.
  • Proficiency in programming languages including Python, Java, Scala, or R.
  • Experience developing models using statistical modeling and machine learning techniques like neural networks, RandomForest, GBM, and SVM.
  • Knowledge of statistical modeling techniques including time series forecasting, linear regression, logistic regression, and panel data analysis.
  • Exposure to big data tools such as Spark, Hive, Kafka, and Map Reduce.
  • Experience with machine learning libraries (MLlib, scikit-learn, H2O) and cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure).
