As a Senior QA Engineer on the Customer Validation Testing team, you will design, automate, configure, and qualify customer use cases based on IOS-XR for platforms such as ASR9K, NCS5500, and 8000. You will also work with Netconf, REST API, gRPC, and OpenConfig Yang Models to solve complex networking problems for high-end Web and Service Provider customers while ensuring robust performance across various configuration dimensions.

What you'll do

  • Design, automate, configure, and qualify customer use cases based on IOS-XR platforms.
  • Create test plans and prioritize tasks dynamically based on specific customer demands.
  • Develop innovative test frameworks, tools, and web-based GUIs using analytics and machine learning.
  • Execute test cases manually and through automation while tracking and verifying defects.
  • Proactively improve test coverage, execution, and performance across various configuration dimensions.
  • Reproduce customer issues in internal labs to generate test executions for the support team.
  • Validate customer use cases by collaborating with development teams and account managers.

What we're looking for

  • A Bachelor's degree in STEM with 7+ years of relevant experience or a Master's degree in STEM with 5+ years of relevant experience is required.
  • Experience in networking software quality assurance is required.
  • Candidates must have experience with L2 or L3 networking protocols including ISIS, BGP, MPLS, IPv6, GRE, and Segment Routing.
  • A CCIE certification in Routing & Switching, Service Provider, or Data Center is preferred.
  • Experience with specific hardware platforms such as ASR9K, NCS5500, and 8000 is preferred.
  • Experience with RDMA technologies and related protocols like InfiniBand, RoCE, or iWARP is preferred.
  • Proficiency in OpenFlow, Netconf, REST API, and network automation tools like pyATS, Ansible, Jenkins, and Robot framework is preferred.
  • Expertise in UNIX/Linux environments and Bash/Unix Shell Scripting is preferred.
