What you'll do

Design, code, test, and implement Python-based solutions for front-office capital markets systems.
Analyze system requirements to identify program interactions and appropriate interfaces between components.
Research, design, and develop a self-service reporting tool for business users.
Deploy applications to higher environments using CI/CD pipelines and container platforms.
Resolve bugs and perform optimizations to improve application performance and maintainability.
Develop reusable services, user interfaces, and conduct thorough code reviews.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, tasking, and estimation of work.

What we're looking for

Candidates must have 5+ years of relevant experience.
Must have hands-on experience coding in Python including libraries like Pandas and NumPy.
Experience implementing REST APIs using microframeworks like Flask is required.
Proficiency with template engines, Airflow, S3, and IDEs such as Visual Studio Code or PyCharm is required.
Experience working with SOA, Micro-services, RDBMS, and SQL/PLSQL is required.
Must be proficient in unit testing frameworks including JUnit, Mockito, and pytest.
Experience in CI/CD environments using tools like Jenkins, TeamCity, and SonarQube is required.
Excellent written and oral communication skills are required.
