The Senior Project Manager, Implementation serves as an experienced delivery professional leading complex client implementation projects across Alkami Digital Banking solutions. This role independently manages diverse project portfolios, coordinating cross-functional activities across Product Development, Engineering, and Customer Success to ensure successful onboarding and operational alignment. Key responsibilities include developing comprehensive project schedules, mitigating delivery risks, managing Jira tickets, and facilitating customer-facing meetings to drive transparency. The successful candidate will utilize skills in stakeholder engagement, project scheduling, and risk assessment to manage multiple concurrent projects. Required technical proficiencies include Jira, MS Project, Smartsheet, Confluence, and Slack, with preferred knowledge of SQL and Agile or Waterfall methodologies. This role solves the business problem of streamlining complex software transitions for financial institutions moving toward data-informed Anticipatory Banking.
Lead complex client implementation projects by developing comprehensive schedules and ensuring delivery within scope, timeline, and budget.
Serve as the primary implementation lead by managing customer communications and aligning stakeholder expectations throughout the lifecycle.
Coordinate cross-functional activities across Product Development, Engineering, Customer Success, and vendor teams to drive project goals.
Analyze project risks and operational challenges by identifying dependencies and developing mitigation strategies.
Manage multiple concurrent implementation projects across varying products and customer segments while maintaining high execution standards.
Facilitate customer-facing meetings to lead project discussions, document action items, and ensure milestone accountability.
Manage Jira tickets, project backlogs, and customer-reported issues by prioritizing resolution efforts and coordinating support.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying delivery inefficiencies and recommending process enhancements for scalability.
What we're looking for
Must have 3–6 years of experience leading implementation projects, customer onboarding, or client-facing operational engagements in SaaS, fintech, or banking technology.
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Information Systems, Communications, or a related field.
Must have advanced experience managing complex implementation projects and customer-facing delivery activities.
Must possess strong project scheduling, stakeholder management, and cross-functional coordination skills.
Must be able to independently manage multiple concurrent projects with varying complexity levels.
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Must be proficient with project management tools such as Jira, MS Project, Smartsheet, Confluence, or Slack.
Must be authorized to work in the US for full-time employment.
