Required expertise includes deep knowledge of software licensing models, FlexeraOne back-end systems, and major cloud providers such as Oracle, Google, Azure, and AWS. The role requires proficiency in AI-driven analytics, including Azure OpenAI and Power Automate, to reduce manual effort while ensuring audit readiness and infrastructure alignment.

What you'll do

  • Lead high-risk programs to manage the end-to-end software lifecycle using FlexeraOne and automation tools.
  • Integrate AI and automation workflows into SAM processes to reduce manual effort and improve reporting accuracy.
  • Manage software audits and ensure compliance across on-premise and cloud environments like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
  • Deliver data-driven insights to executive leadership to inform decision-making regarding license risk and cost optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Security, Finance, Legal, and Engineering to unify license-compliance processes.
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success in cost savings and license optimization.
  • Create knowledge-sharing frameworks, including playbooks and templates, to scale SAM capabilities across the organization.
  • Mentor team members to build internal expertise and foster a solution-driven culture within the SAM program.

What we're looking for

  • You must have 7+ years of experience managing large-scale, cross-functional programs with a focus on Software Asset Management (SAM).
  • You must have 7+ years of experience delivering high-impact, multimillion-dollar programs while exceeding stakeholder expectations.
  • You must possess deep knowledge of SAM principles, software lifecycle management, and various software licensing models.
  • You must have expert knowledge of FlexeraOne, including foundational back-end knowledge.
  • You must be able to manage software audits and ensure audit readiness for major on-prem and cloud vendors like Oracle, Google, Azure, and AWS.
  • You must possess a technical background understanding both core infrastructure and software development principles.
  • You must have a track record of AI/automation enablement using tools like Azure OpenAI, GitHub Actions, or Power Automate to optimize SAM processes.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a related field and certifications in SAM tools or frameworks are preferred.
