As a Senior Production Software Engineer on the Imaging team, you will develop product-agnostic software solutions to optimize production efficiency and quality while enhancing automation through cross-functional collaboration with production and software teams. Your daily responsibilities include designing and implementing hardware testing strategies, creating documentation for testing procedures, performing root cause analysis to triage issues, and leading system architecture designs for technical initiatives. You will utilize Python, MATLAB, Linux, Git, and networking to solve complex problems in the domain of imaging systems that integrate computer vision, perception, electro-optical, infrared, and sensor data. Preferred skills include experience with SQL, C/C++, JavaScript, and Nix, as well as expertise in hardware-software integration and high-volume manufacturing environments to ensure the seamless performance of advanced defense technologies.
Develop product-agnostic software solutions to optimize production efficiency and quality.
Design and implement hardware testing strategies and tools.
Create and maintain documentation for testing procedures and tools.
Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Conduct root cause analysis to triage production, product, and process issues.
Lead system architecture designs for various technical initiatives.

What we're looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
8+ years of professional software development experience.
Proficiency in Python and MATLAB.
Experience driving the strategic design of scalable system architecture.
Familiarity with Linux, Git, and networking.
Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
Master’s degree in a relevant engineering field (preferred).
Experience in hardware testing, automated test systems, and high-volume manufacturing (preferred); SQL/databases, C/C++, javascript, and nix (preferred).
