As a Senior Product Quality Engineer on the ALTIUS team, you will drive product development and production for our next-generation autonomous drones by supporting early design engagement, risk reduction, and quality planning. Your day-to-day responsibilities include managing inspection processes, conducting acceptance tests, and leading Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) activities. You will work cross-functionally to define the product roadmap and ensure continuous improvement of the Quality Management System. Ideal candidates have expertise in manufacturing, test/system performance criteria, metrology, and continuous improvement for drones. Familiarity with Teamcenter, NetSuite, SolidWorks/NX, Jira, Foundry, Forge/MES, and Altium is preferred. This role requires a TS/SCI security clearance and involves travel up to 25% of the time to critical suppliers and Arsenal 1 facilities.

What you'll do

  • Drive product development and production by supporting early design engagement, risk reduction, and quality planning.
  • Own the elimination of product risks to improve reliability and quality across the lifecycle.
  • Lead Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA), Corrective Action Board (CAB), and Material Review Board (MRB) activities.
  • Define and execute the product roadmap for changes and customer acceptance testing.
  • Support continuous improvement of the Quality Management System, defining required documentation and processes.
  • Design and develop quality plans to ensure clarity and resolution for quality ambiguities in product maturity.

What we're looking for

  • Extensive knowledge of precision mechanical parts, sub-assemblies, PCBA, and avionics.
  • Experience in systems integration, composites, propulsion, and lethality systems for drones.
  • Proficient in applying industry standards to meet government customer quality expectations.
  • Ability to lead Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) and Material Review Board (MRB).
  • TS/SCI security clearance required.
  • Drive product development from early design through manufacturing and field use phases.
