Senior Product Designer, UI/UX & AI Systems

What you'll do

• Own end-to-end design for carbon modeling systems, manufacturing design systems, and generative AI productivity tools.
• Architect information hierarchies to make dense technical and operational data easy to query and interpret.
• Modernize legacy mission-critical systems into intelligent, AI-augmented experiences for power users.
• Formulate interaction patterns for AI tools that establish trust, transparency, and human-in-the-loop oversight.
• Conduct investigative research with internal and external users to uncover latent needs beyond initial feature requests.
• Partner with engineers in repos to translate interaction patterns into implementation and contribute code or pull requests.
• Use AI-assisted tools and rapid prototyping to accelerate the transition from user research to deployed software.

What we're looking for

• 8–10+ years of product design (UI/UX) experience shipping complex, data-dense software tools, web platforms, and operational systems.
• Proven track record designing data-intensive workflows such as analytics platforms, scientific/modeling tools, or enterprise workflow engines.
• Demonstrated experience designing for AI/ML-driven features, including probability, confidence scores, and agentic interfaces.
• Hands-on experience integrating AI into your own design workflow to accelerate research, prototyping, and production-ready handoffs.
• Fluency with front-end architectures and component libraries, including familiarity with Git workflows and opening/reviewing pull requests.
• Mastery of modern design and prototyping tools to rapidly test ideas using AI-assisted tooling.
• Experience leading the migration of legacy software suites into next-generation intelligent platforms (preferred).
• Experience building and scaling design systems for multi-team or external vendor ecosystems (preferred).
