Senior Privacy Software Engineer, Privacy Engineering (Sensing and Intelligence)

What you'll do

• Review product features to identify privacy exposures and design technical mitigations.
• Audit new products for development bugs and review customer data for privacy impact.
• Communicate privacy risks and potential mitigation strategies to senior leadership.
• Design privacy-preserving data collection systems for training and evaluating generative AI.
• Partner with cryptographers to develop roadmaps for differential privacy and private federated learning.
• Provide technical guidance to engineers on selecting appropriate privacy technologies for new features.

What we're looking for

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Ability to analyze system architectures for privacy impact.
• Ability to learn and research new technologies rapidly to assess privacy exposures and suggest mitigations.
• Ability to solve complex problems independently.
• Strong collaboration, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Experience with foundation models, including training and evaluation (preferred).
• Experience with differential privacy or private federated learning (preferred).
