What you'll do

Build and deliver a high-performance key-value store supporting billions of keys and millions of requests per second.
Design and develop low-level data-plane components for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
Provide strategic technical guidance to senior leadership to drive alignment on organizational goals.
Perform hands-on software development, including coding in C++, prototyping, and debugging systems.
Create architectural documentation and lead engineering peer reviews for large-scale cloud projects.
Mentor junior team members and provide direct guidance on technical execution and project goals.
Automate and instrument services to improve operational excellence and developer experience.

What we're looking for

Must have 10+ years of relevant engineering, architecture, or development/operational experience.
Strong experience in C++ programming is required.
Openness to work with Rust is preferred.
Experience in low-level and performance-critical system level design and service development is required.
Experience with high-concurrency systems is required.
Experience with technologies such as distributed storage, WAL, indexing, Raft/Paxos, or MVCC is required.
Expert knowledge of cloud infrastructure concepts and technologies is required.
Demonstrated ability to provide strategic technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
