As a Senior Principal SoC Architect in the System Technology Architecture Group at Arm, you will lead and define system architectures for Infrastructure markets from edge to hyperscale systems using Arm technology. Your daily tasks include building architecture specifications that integrate Arm compute, security, boot strategies, and IO interfacing requirements while guiding development work across multiple design teams. You will also collaborate with hardware and software engineering teams to refine power expectations under various workloads and define performance metrics for latency, bandwidth targets, QoS, and next-generation memory technologies. This role requires deep knowledge of Infrastructure system architecture, server-class power management techniques, high-speed IO interfaces like PCIe and SATA, security, and systems-level performance modeling. Ideal candidates have a strong background in Electrical/Computer Engineering with at least 10 years of experience in translating server requirements into SoC designs and possess excellent communication skills to generate consistent specifications.
