As a Senior Platform Software Engineer, you will join the Software Ecosystem Management team to build a foundational platform that provides a trusted view of the software ecosystem. You will solve complex problems regarding service reliability and performance while navigating ambiguous requirements to build scalable infrastructure that manages the vast software estate and supports cross-functional teams within a large enterprise environment.

What you'll do

Design, implement, and operate core components within the SEM platform.
Build scalable backend services, APIs, and data-processing workflows for software metadata.

What we're looking for

Must have 4+ years of experience in distributed service engineering or a related software development role.
Must possess strong development experience in Java or another object-oriented language.
Must have experience building or operating distributed systems and APIs at scale.
Must be familiar with databases, data processing, and production-grade backend services.
Must have experience debugging across service boundaries to improve reliability and performance.
Must be comfortable working in a large enterprise environment with ambiguous and evolving requirements.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
