What you'll do

Design, develop, test, and maintain cloud-native services and microservices.
Build highly available, scalable, and fault-tolerant distributed systems.
Write high-quality, maintainable, and well-tested code for production environments.
Troubleshoot production issues and participate in on-call rotations.
Analyze system performance and implement improvements for scalability and reliability.
Own specific service components from initial design through production operations.
Build automation to reduce operational toil and improve service monitoring.
Mentor interns and junior engineers on day-to-day engineering practices.

What we're looking for

Must have 3 to 5+ years of experience.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
Must have strong programming skills in Java, Go, C++, Python, or a similar language.
Must have a solid understanding of distributed systems fundamentals.
Must have experience developing REST APIs and microservices.
Must have knowledge of concurrency, multithreading, and asynchronous programming.
Must have familiarity with Linux systems and networking fundamentals.
Must have experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
Must have experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and modern development practices.
Experience operating production cloud services (preferred).
Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, or container orchestration (preferred).
Familiarity with public cloud platforms such as OCI, AWS, Azure, or GCP (preferred).
Experience with observability tools including metrics, logging, and tracing (preferred).
Understanding of security best practices, authentication, and authorization (preferred).
