Senior Platform Engineer

What you'll do

• Own and operate the AWS and Kubernetes platform focusing on reliability, cost, and performance.
• Lead GitOps deployments to manage policy synchronization, deployment ordering, and configuration management.
• Design and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, including shell and Docker runner management.
• Manage incident response by diagnosing failures, leading recovery efforts, and documenting post-mortems.
• Establish platform observability through monitoring, alerting, and log visibility for analytics business consulting.
• Maintain security baselines, access controls, and secrets management across the infrastructure.

What we're looking for

• Must have 5+ years of hands-on platform engineering experience focused on automation, tooling, and distributed systems.
• Must have experience with AWS and Kubernetes (specifically EKS) for production workload management.
• Requires expert-level GitLab CI/CD skills including shell and Docker runner management.
• Requires strong Bash scripting skills for deployment orchestration.
• Must have production experience using ArgoCD and GitOps to manage workloads across environments.
• Proficiency with Terraform as the primary Infrastructure as Code tool is required.
• Must possess AWS fluency in services including Lambda, ALB, WAF, CloudFront, Cognito, Secrets Manager, Route53, KMS, ECR, and VPC networking.
• Requires working knowledge of security baselines and compliance-oriented infrastructure design.
