Senior Platform Engineer

What you'll do

• Build, provision, and maintain cloud infrastructure on Azure using infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Bicep.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment, environment promotion, and pipeline health monitoring.
• Support SRE practices by defining SLOs/SLIs, building alerting rules, and participating in 24x7 on-call rotations.
• Monitor, triage, and respond to infrastructure incidents while performing root cause analysis and implementing remediations.
• Build and maintain observability tooling including dashboards, log pipelines, distributed tracing, and metrics collection.
• Implement cloud security controls for identity management, network security, and compliance with HIPAA, GDPR, and PCI requirements.
• Manage disaster recovery and backup processes to ensure production systems meet recovery time objectives.
• Document infrastructure, runbooks, and operational procedures to support knowledge sharing across a globally distributed team.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering in a production environment.
• Working knowledge of Azure cloud services including compute, networking, storage, and identity services.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tooling such as Terraform or Bicep.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline design using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or equivalent tools.
• Understanding of SRE principles including SLOs, alerting, on-call practices, and incident response.
• Experience with observability tooling for monitoring, logging, and distributed tracing in cloud-native environments.
• Basic understanding of cloud security practices including identity management and network security.
