As a Senior Network Developer on the Network Region Build team, you will support the deployment of greenfield infrastructure and establish network connectivity for new OCI regions. What you'll do

Design, deploy, and operate large-scale global cloud networks and data center fabrics.
Execute network changes using existing tools while developing new procedures for infrastructure upgrades.
Lead technical projects by creating runbooks, defining roadmaps, and mentoring junior engineers.
Perform root cause analysis and provide escalation support for complex network events.
Develop scripts and automation tools to streamline routine tasks and improve operational efficiency.
Troubleshoot physical layer issues including cable, trunk, and optics systems.
Collaborate with vendors to resolve software bugs and qualify new firmware or operating systems.

What we're looking for

Applicants must be able to read, write, and speak English.
Candidates should have 3 to 5+ years of experience in the field.
Experience in large ISP or cloud provider environments is required.
Candidates must have hands-on exposure to commodity Ethernet hardware like Broadcom and Mellanox.
Deep knowledge of routing and transport protocols including BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, TCP, IPv4, IPv6, DNS, DHCP, and MPLS is required.
Experience with Internet peering, inter-domain networking, and VPN/SSL technologies is required.
Proficiency in scripting and automation, preferably using Python, is required.
Familiarity with automation frameworks, network modeling (YANG, OpenConfig, NETCONF), and telemetry systems is required.
