Senior Manufacturing Engineer

What you'll do

• Design manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies and equipment installation.
• Arrange machinery within plant facilities to ensure the most efficient and productive layout.
• Develop sequences of operations and specify procedures for fabricating tools and equipment.
• Adapt machine or equipment designs to meet specific factory and production conditions.
• Monitor and inspect the performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to ensure product quality.
• Investigate and initiate corrective actions for identified problems or deficiencies in manufacturing equipment.
• Develop manufacturing processes that are applicable to statistical process control techniques.
• Ensure all manufacturing processes and procedures comply with relevant industry regulations.

What we're looking for

• A Bachelor's degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience, a Master's degree with at least 2 years of experience, or a PhD is required.
• Candidates with degrees from outside the U.S. must satisfy specific federal requirements for equivalency.
• You must possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment.
• Experience in a regulated industry such as medical devices is preferred.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills, team collaboration, communication, and project management skills are preferred.
• Work experience with FDA Quality System Regulations, cGMP, ISO 13485, or ISO 9001 standards is preferred.
