As a Senior Manager of Technical Account Management (TAM) for the EMEA region at Datadog, you will lead and grow an existing team of TAMs, providing technical expertise to support and guide large customers through the adoption of Datadog’s comprehensive suite of products. You will also build relationships across Product Management, Support, and Enablement to ensure seamless transitions between pre- and post-sales activities. This role requires experience in managing or mentoring Professional Services, Sales Engineering, or Support teams, along with a strong understanding of cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and the ability to communicate technical advantages effectively.

What you'll do

  • Manage and grow a team of TAMs to ensure customer success and growth.
  • Enable team members with technical skills and soft skills to support customers effectively.
  • Mentor new hires during onboarding to enhance their capabilities and integration.
  • Partner with regional teams to improve and customize the TPS program globally.
  • Articulate the Datadog Technical Post Sales value proposition to key accounts.
  • Deliver semi-annual performance reviews and development plans for team members.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of experience managing or mentoring Professional Services, Sales Engineering, or Support teams.
  • Proven ability to grow and develop a team in technical post-sales roles.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills for articulating business benefits and technical advantages.
  • Knowledge of current infrastructure, Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP), monitoring solutions, and trends.
  • Experience as a TAM or equivalent client-facing role supporting mid-market and Enterprise customers.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time via various modes of transportation.
