TL;DR · Senior Manager, System Integration
Senior Manager, System Integration – Silicon Co-Design Group joins the Silicon Co-Design Group to lead a team at the intersection of architecture, design, software, and manufacturing. This role is critical for identifying silicon issues before products are production-ready by shifting post-silicon coverage left through wide-area testing and in-system test capabilities. The manager will oversee post-silicon feature integration, PVT validation, and complex hardware/software interaction troubleshooting across GPU, SoC, and CPU programs. Key responsibilities include developing strategies to maintain milestones despite upstream dependency slips, mentoring senior technical talent, and building operational rigor through bring-up tracking and debug forums. Candidates must possess expertise in electrical engineering fundamentals, including DFT, digital design, computer architecture, power, timing, and fault analysis. The role solves complex system-level problems by translating technical data into decision-ready options for executive audiences across global teams.
Skills
What you'll do
- Plan and execute post-silicon feature integration, PVT validation, and wide-area testing for GPU, SoC, and CPU programs.
- Develop repeatable wide-area and in-system test capabilities to identify silicon issues before software is production-ready.
- Lead the resolution of complex system-level issues, RMAs, and hardware/software interaction problems through experimentation.
- Create and execute strategies to maintain program milestones when upstream software, firmware, or methodology dependencies slip.
- Hire, mentor, and retain senior technical talent while developing individual contributors into future leaders.
- Establish operational rigor by managing bring-up tracking, debug forums, and translating execution data into decision-ready options.
- Partner with cross-functional teams in architecture, design, DFT, software, firmware, QA, and manufacturing to ensure product success.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- System-level post-silicon bring-up and debug experience with shipped silicon.
- At least 5 years of experience leading technical teams.
- Experience finding critical silicon issues before software is production-ready by building or scaling wide-area or in-system test programs.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and retain senior technical talent across multiple geographies.
- Strong EE fundamentals in DFT, digital design, computer architecture, power, timing, and fault analysis.
- Ability to translate complex technical issues into clear options for executive audiences.
- Experience with process improvements, global team collaboration, DFT system-test features, or AI-driven workflows (preferred).
