Senior Manager, Solutions Engineering Pre-Sales, Northern Europe at Cloudflare

What you'll do

• Lead and enable the Solutions Engineering team by providing technical expertise and coaching.
• Ensure balanced workload distribution among team members and manage new hires effectively.
• Escalate and resolve issues efficiently while collaborating with other regional leads and teams.
• Drive customer success by creating scalable solutions for complex needs across various Cloudflare departments.
• Foster a positive, collaborative culture within the Solutions Engineering team through open communication.

What we're looking for

• Over 15 years of pre-sales/Solutions Engineering experience in IT.
• At least 5 years of managerial experience as an SE manager.
• Strong understanding of the Northern European market and business growth track record.
• Proven ability to coach, lead, and manage a team effectively.
• Expertise in internet technologies including OSI Model layers 1-7, BGP, DNS, HTTP(S), SSL/TLS.
• Demonstrated experience in customer buying decision processes and revenue-driven business decisions.
