Senior Manager, Robotics Quality Assurance

What you'll do

• Define and drive the overall test engineering strategy for robotics products using scalable frameworks and methodologies.
• Develop test automation for on-robot hardware, embedded software, and sensor integration on the Jetson AGX Thor platform.
• Architect and implement rigorous test plans to validate AI foundation models for performance, safety, and reliability.
• Build and maintain test infrastructure within simulation environments like Isaac Sim and Isaac Lab to verify physics accuracy.
• Oversee test automation development for the full robotics software stack, including Isaac ROS integration.
• Develop testing methodologies to bridge the "sim-to-real" gap between virtual simulations and physical robot hardware.
• Design complex test scenarios using generative AI to stress-test robot policies in simulation environments.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in Hardware Engineering.
• 3+ years of demonstrable experience in QA involving Robotics or Hardware Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience leading a team.
• Experience with Machine Learning and training/testing robotics models.
• Proficiency with AI tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Perplexity, and ChatGPT.
• Fluency in scripting with Python.
• Experience with Vision-Language Models (VLMs) and teleoperation is preferred.
