What you'll do

  • Lead the Isaac Manipulation team by recruiting, mentoring, and managing a high-performing group of robotics and machine learning engineers.

  • Translate complex industrial problems in manufacturing and logistics into robust, production-ready software capabilities.
  • Bridge research and product by integrating sim-to-real, imitation learning, and reinforcement learning into the Isaac platform.
  • Serve as the technical face of Isaac Manipulation to engage with robot-arm OEMs, system integrators, and the developer community.
  • Architect systems that leverage NVIDIA GPUs, CUDA, and accelerated computing for simulation, training, and on-robot inference.
  • Manage the execution of multi-functional programs to ensure high quality and performance of manipulation stacks on physical robots.

What we're looking for

  • BS, MS, or PhD in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Relevant industry experience building robotics or robotics-adjacent systems.
  • 3+ years of experience leading, mentoring, and managing engineering teams.
  • Expertise in robotic arms, motion planning, control, and perception-guided manipulation.
  • Proficiency in GPU-accelerated computing, CUDA, PyTorch, and modern ML infrastructure.
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals in modern C++ and Python.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with external partners, customers, and developer communities.
  • Experience with imitation learning, reinforcement learning, sim-to-real transfer, or manipulation foundation models.
