What you'll do

Recruit, grow, and mentor a high-performing team of robotics software engineers.
Define the strategy and roadmap for grasping, motion planning, perception, and learned manipulation policies.
Translate complex industrial manipulation tasks into robust, production-ready software capabilities.
Integrate sim-to-real, imitation, and reinforcement learning approaches into the Isaac platform.
Serve as the technical face of the team to robot-arm OEMs, system integrators, and developers.
Architect software to fully utilize NVIDIA GPUs, CUDA, and accelerated-computing stacks for simulation and inference.
Own the quality, performance, and real-world deployment of learned policies on physical robots.

What we're looking for

BS, MS, or PhD in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
12+ total years of relevant industry experience building robotics or robotics-adjacent systems.
3+ years of experience leading, mentoring, and managing engineering teams.
Hands-on expertise with robotic arms, manipulation, physics, motion planning, and control.
Working understanding of GPU-accelerated computing and modern ML infrastructure, including CUDA and PyTorch.
Demonstrated ability to work with external partners, customers, and developer communities to translate needs into products.
Strong software engineering fundamentals in modern C++ and Python.
Experience building manipulation products at a robot-arm company or startup (preferred).
