Senior Manager, NPI Materials

What you'll do

• Manage a team of Technical Program Managers and Project Managers through all stages of product development.
• Ensure materials supply chain meets performance, cost, quality, capacity, and on-time delivery requirements.
• Act as the primary point of contact for escalations between Product groups and Supply Chain organizations.
• Influence product design by applying expertise in manufacturability, testing, supply chain, and cost reduction.
• Lead the team to resolve material shortages and enable new part introductions for pilot builds.
• Develop supplier selection processes for piece parts or outsourced assemblies while identifying supply chain risks.
• Resolve discrepancies between cost targets and quoted costs through executive presentations and stakeholder collaboration.
• Identify opportunities to improve product design for cost, quality, and delivery through early supplier involvement.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial).
• Eight years of operations management experience in semiconductor, automotive, or heavy machinery industries.
• Proven leadership of cross-functional teams on highly complex projects.
• Expertise in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of manufacturing methods and commodities as related to cost structure.
• Supply chain knowledge regarding critical commodities for sourcing decisions and cost strategies.
• Ability to work on a flex schedule with at least three days per week in the Fremont office.
