Senior Manager, M&A Integration joins the team to build and run the operational backbone for integrating acquisitions into durable business outcomes. This hands-on execution role involves leading integration planning and execution from LOI through post-close while partnering with Corporate Development and the Chief of Staff. The successful candidate will manage cross-functional workstreams across Legal, HR, Finance & Accounting, IT, Go-to-Market, Marketing, and Product & Technology to ensure deal value is realized. Key responsibilities include developing integration playbooks, tracking KPIs against financial models, managing Day 1 and Day 100 readiness, and overseeing people and change management for acquired talent. The role requires expertise in program management, risk assessment, and using AI-enabled tools to scale processes. This position solves the complex challenge of transforming deal-by-deal efforts into consistent, repeatable practices within a high-growth technology environment.
Translate deal theses into clear integration goals, success criteria, and operating models for each transaction.
Build and maintain a standardized integration playbook including checklists, templates, and KPI frameworks.
Lead day-to-day execution of integration workstreams across Legal, HR, Finance, IT, Marketing, and Product teams.
Manage project dependencies and risks while facilitating cross-functional decisions and escalating critical issues.
Coordinate with HR on organizational design, role mapping, and retention plans for acquired talent.
Track integration KPIs to ensure results align with the original deal thesis and financial models.
Identify integration complexities and risks during the early stages of the deal lifecycle.
Conduct post-integration retrospectives to incorporate lessons learned into future playbooks.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum of 8 years of progressive professional experience.
At least 5 years leading or supporting M&A integration, post-merger integration consulting, corporate development, or complex cross-functional transformation programs.
Experience owning integration workstreams or full integrations for individual deals from planning through post-close execution.
Experience partnering with Corporate Development from LOI through close.
Experience across various deal types, including product and talent tuck-ins.
Strong program management discipline including structured planning, risk/dependency management, and clear communication of status to senior stakeholders.
Cross-functional depth in Legal, HR, IT, Finance, Marketing, and Product & Technology; experience in a technology or software organization (preferred).
