As the Senior Manager, M&A People Integration, you will join the People Business Partner team to serve as the strategic owner and lead orchestrator of all people-related integration workstreams across the company's acquisition portfolio. You will develop and champion a standardized People Integration Playbook covering compensation harmonization, organizational design, benefits alignment, and HRIS transitions. Your daily responsibilities include managing cross-functional dependencies with Legal, Finance, and Business Line leadership while mitigating talent risk through retention strategies and cultural alignment. To succeed, you must possess deep expertise in HR regulations, project management methodologies, and analytical problem-solving. You will utilize tools such as Confluence, Airtable, and SharePoint to track progress. This role solves the complex challenge of integrating acquired teams into a cohesive corporate structure while ensuring mission continuity within a high-growth defense technology environment.
Develop and maintain the People Integration Playbook to standardize compensation, leveling, and HRIS transitions across all acquisitions.
Lead the integration of G&A personnel into corporate functions through pre-close talent assessments and post-close resolution.
Design and implement retention strategies and cultural alignment plans to minimize attrition among acquired employees.
Coordinate critical HR operational deliverables including offer letters, background checks, benefits enrollment, and payroll setup for Day 1 readiness.
Act as the primary liaison between Legal, Finance, People Ops, and business leaders to manage cross-functional integration dependencies.
Serve as the subject matter expert for complex issues like international labor laws, clearance transfers, and policy harmonization.
What we're looking for
Must have 7-10+ years of progressive HR experience.
Must have at least 1 year of experience specifically in M&A integration roles focusing on People/HR workstreams.
Proven track record of leading complex HR integration projects including compensation, benefits, and HRIS integration.
Deep expertise in HR regulations and best practices, preferably with exposure to government contracting or classified environments.
Strong analytical skills to translate complex HR data into actionable strategies and executive communications.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and change management skills to influence senior stakeholders.
Proficiency in HRIS platforms and project management methodologies; experience with Confluence, Airtable, and SharePoint is preferred.
Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities.
