The Senior Manager, GTM Data Science joins the Go-to-Market Data & Intelligence organization to lead a diverse team of data scientists. This role involves owning a portfolio of data science initiatives that help Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams determine customer engagement strategies and measure impact. You will translate ambiguous business objectives into clear decision frameworks, managing the end-to-end lifecycle from problem formulation and data readiness through modeling, deployment, and workflow integration. Key responsibilities include shaping the multi-quarter roadmap, prioritizing opportunities by business value, and ensuring high technical standards for model evaluation and reproducibility. The role requires proficiency in Python, R, and SQL, alongside expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning, experimentation, causal inference, and propensity modeling to solve complex customer retention, growth, and segmentation problems.
Shape the multi-quarter data science roadmap for customer engagement use cases aligned with business objectives.
Translate ambiguous strategic business questions into clear analytical problem statements, intervention strategies, and success metrics.
Manage a portfolio of decision intelligence initiatives including retention, growth potential, segmentation, and lead prioritization.
Lead the end-to-end lifecycle from problem formulation and data readiness through modeling, deployment, and impact measurement.
Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate data science products into GTM workflows and operational processes.
Provide technical leadership on statistical modeling, machine learning, experimentation, and causal inference methods.
Recruit, develop, and coach a high-performing team of data scientists with clear roles and accountability.
Establish operating rhythms and quality standards for roadmap reviews, technical reviews, and launch readiness.
What we're looking for
8+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, advanced analytics, or a related quantitative field.
3+ years of experience managing data science, machine learning, or advanced analytics teams.
Advanced degree in a quantitative discipline such as statistics, mathematics, economics, computer science, engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong technical fluency in Python or R and SQL for technical design and model-review discussions.
Demonstrated experience taking machine learning products from ambiguous business problems through development, deployment, and measurable impact.
Strong knowledge of statistical modeling, machine learning, experimentation, causal inference, and model evaluation techniques.
Experience influencing senior stakeholders and leading cross-functional initiatives across multiple disciplines.
Experience with B2B SaaS, subscription, or commercial analytics supporting Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success (preferred).
