You will solve complex business problems by ensuring engineering execution aligns with enterprise goals while managing large-scale, cross-functional initiatives within a fast-paced, collaborative environment to improve the developer experience.

What you'll do

Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and teams specializing in distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
Design and implement large-scale, cloud-native systems with high reliability and performance requirements.
Manage multiple Agile engineering teams to deliver large-scale, cross-functional initiatives.
Partner with leadership to define multi-year technology roadmaps and investment priorities.
Mentor engineering talent and develop succession plans for Lead Engineers and other technical leaders.
Drive alignment between engineering execution and enterprise goals by influencing portfolio-level decisions.
Oversee the development of robust cloud-based solutions using AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and various programming languages.
Evaluate code and stay current on emerging technologies to guide technical strategy.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
At least 6 years of experience in software engineering.
At least 3 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies.
At least 3 years of people management experience.
Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
Experience leading architectural design reviews and influencing enterprise-wide technical standards (preferred).
Experience with database management systems, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and Git-based version control (preferred).
Experience with specific programming languages, front-end frameworks, and managing multi-team engineering organizations (preferred).
