What you'll do

Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers to create distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
Drive end-to-end design and implementation of large-scale, cloud-native systems with high reliability and performance requirements.
Manage and develop Lead Engineers while building succession plans and scaling leadership capability across multiple teams.
Partner with product and architecture leaders to define multi-year technology roadmaps and investment priorities.
Lead multiple Agile engineering teams to ensure the delivery of large-scale, cross-functional initiatives.
Drive alignment between engineering execution and enterprise goals by influencing portfolio-level decisions and trade-offs.
Mentor engineering talent and participate in internal and external technology communities to stay current on tech trends.
Evaluate code and contribute to the development of robust cloud-based solutions using Java, Python, Go, and AWS tools.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
At least 6 years of experience in software engineering.
At least 3 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies.
At least 3 years of people management experience.
Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
9+ years of experience coding with more than two of Go, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Rust, C#, or Scala (preferred).
Experience managing multi-team engineering organizations or leading strategic technical programs spanning multiple domains (preferred).
Experience presenting technology roadmaps and investment cases to executive leadership (preferred).
