What you'll do

Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and teams specializing in distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
Manage multiple Agile engineering teams while providing strategic direction for large-scale, cross-functional initiatives.
Partner with product and architecture leaders to define multi-year technology roadmaps and investment priorities.
Develop and manage Lead Engineers by building succession plans and scaling leadership capabilities across the organization.
Drive alignment between engineering execution and enterprise goals to influence portfolio-level decisions and trade-offs.
Oversee the end-to-end design and implementation of high-performance, cloud-native distributed systems.
Mentor engineering talent and participate in internal and external technology communities to share technical expertise.
Evaluate code and stay current on emerging technologies and open-source frameworks.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
At least 6 years of experience in software engineering.
At least 3 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies.
At least 3 years of people management experience.
Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
Experience leading architectural design reviews and influencing enterprise-wide technical standards (preferred).
Extensive experience with databases, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and Git-based version control (preferred).
Proficiency in multiple programming languages including Java, Scala, Python, Go, Node.js, JavaScript, or TypeScript (preferred).
