What you'll do

Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and teams specializing in distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
Manage and mentor lead engineers while developing succession plans and scaling leadership capabilities across multiple teams.
Design and implement large-scale, cloud-native systems with high reliability and performance requirements.
Partner with product and architecture leaders to define multi-year technology roadmaps and investment priorities.
Drive alignment between engineering execution and enterprise goals by influencing portfolio-level decisions and trade-offs.
Oversee the development of robust, cloud-based solutions using AWS tools and container orchestration services like Kubernetes.
Lead multiple Agile engineering teams to deliver large-scale, cross-functional initiatives and technical transformations.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
At least 6 years of experience in software engineering.
At least 3 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies.
At least 3 years of people management experience.
Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
1+ year of experience leading architectural design reviews and influencing enterprise-wide technical standards (preferred).
4+ years of experience with database and database management systems (preferred).
4+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automated testing frameworks (preferred).
