You will own the full cradle-to-grave lifecycle of projects, including ZephyrOS/OpenBMC firmware, microcode, device drivers, embedded Linux/Yocto builds, and upper-level control software. Your daily work involves silicon, chip, board, and full-system bring-up, as well as driver development for interfaces like I2C, PMBus, AVSbus, MDIO, PCIe, SPI, USB, and SERDES. You must utilize C/C++ to manage complex multi-processor architectures like x86 and ARM. Key technical requirements include Redfish, MCTP, PLDM, and SPDM standards, alongside Secure Boot, u-boot, and Root of Trust implementations for datacenter networking and switching architectures.
