As a Principal Member of Technical Staff, the R&D Engineer Software 5 will join the team to build the next generation of the ValueOps Financial Intelligence Solution. You will utilize technologies including Java, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, and distributed systems. The role requires expertise in Generative AI, LLMs, Agentic AI, MCP, RAG, and Prompt Engineering. You will build applications on AWS, Azure, GCP, or VMware Cloud Foundation, focusing on solving complex business problems through scalable technical solutions and AI orchestration.

What you'll do

  • Design and develop enterprise-scale cloud-native services supporting Unified Hybrid FinOps.
  • Build AI-powered capabilities using LLMs, Agentic AI, MCP, RAG, and enterprise knowledge platforms.
  • Develop intelligent services for cloud cost optimization, tokenomics, capacity forecasting, and budget recommendations.
  • Develop APIs, microservices, data pipelines, and AI orchestration services.
  • Translate business requirements from Product Management into scalable technical solutions.
  • Improve engineering productivity by collaborating with DevOps teams on AI-assisted software development.
  • Mentor engineers on modern AI engineering practices and software architecture.

What we're looking for

  • 8+ years of experience developing enterprise SaaS applications.
  • Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, and distributed systems.
  • Experience with Generative AI, AI Agents, LLM integration, Prompt Engineering, MCP, and RAG.
  • Experience building cloud-native applications on AWS, Azure, GCP, or VMware Cloud Foundation.
  • Strong understanding of APIs, microservices, event-driven architectures, and DevOps.
  • Excellent collaboration and problem-solving skills.
